No. RentLizen is a rental service. You pay for access for the dates you choose. Ownership stays with RentLizen unless we offer a separate buyout option at the end of a rental.

Question 12

Your rental total is charged through Stripe when checkout is approved. There is no traditional monthly subscription unless you choose a long lease billed in installments (shown clearly at checkout). Free delivery applies automatically when your selected period is 30 days or more.

Question 13

Question 16

Is my footage safe when I return the camera?

Accepted Answer

Yes—your footage belongs to you. Before returning, copy your files and remove your memory card. After we receive the camera, RentLizen resets it and wipes any remaining storage before it goes back into rotation. We never keep, share, or sell footage or personal data from your device.

Question 17

Can I modify the camera?

Accepted Answer

No. User modifications aren’t allowed. Repairs are handled by RentLizen so every unit stays supported and ready for the next renter. If you want full control over your camera setup, buying may be a better fit.

Accepted Answer

Only the accessories listed on the product page are included. Memory cards, extra mounts and spare batteries are not included unless stated, so bring your own microSD card and copy your footage before returning the camera.
